PREP & MAINTAIN

BEFORE YOUR TAN

  • Prepare your skin by giving it an even surface for a smooth application.

  • Be sure you do not have any makeup, lotion or deodorant on before your tan.

  • It’s best not to shave immediately before your appointment. 4-12 hours is ideal.

  • The majority of our guests may dress to your comfort. Most guests elect to wear underwear or bathing suit bottoms. Some prefer topless while others wear bathing suit tops. We do ask that men wear bottoms and all minors must wear tops and bottoms. Finally, wear/bring dark, loose fitting clothing to avoid your tan rubbing against your clothing while it’s developing.

  • It’s best not to not apply oil-based products within 24 hours of your tan. Products with salicylic acid or retinol should be avoided for at least 1 week prior.

AFTER YOUR TAN

  • Continue to wear loose fitting clothing to avoid your tan rubbing off.

  • Follow your artist’s instructions for showering, which is generally 6-8 hours post tan. Avoid swimming, exercising, moisturizing, manicures/pedicures or any other activities and products that add moisture to your skin.

  • After your first shower, hydrate your skin with an oil free, unscented moisturizer.

EXTEND YOUR TAN

  • Keeping your skin hydrated is the key to a longer lasting tan. High quality, oil free moisturizers with no to minimal scents are best.

  • Consider products like our Tan Extend which is specifically formulated to improve the longevity of your tan.

  • Harsh chemicals such as chlorine and beauty products containing acids should be avoided.

  • Do not exfoliate until your tan is at the end of its lifespan or you are ready for another tan. Shaving will also

PRE-VISIT PAPERWORK

All guests must sign our Pre-Visit Waiver prior to their first tan. Waivers will be available at check in, but if you would like to take the time to read and sign on your own and bring it with you to your first visit, you may download it below.

Please note that minors must have a parent signature on their Waiver prior to their first tan, so if you are a minor and your parent is not attending your visit with you, please bring this form with their signature with you.
